Before Fall Break, we had our first lesson on the Elements of Art. We looked at famous works of art and discussed the different ways artists use lines. We created our own pieces of art using a variety of lines.
Today students learned about the food pyramid.  They learned about foods that are nutritious and foods that are not nutritious.  Students worked in partners to sort foods into the two groups.
We have been practicing our vowel sounds at school!  Please practice vowel sounds at home by reading with your student every night!
