The Element of Art we are focussing on this month is color. Today, students created their own color wheels. We discussed primary colors, secondary colors, warm colors, and cool colors.

Today we had an author and illustrator come to our classroom! She read her story "Cleezy Biz and The Munch". Students had a chance to ask questions about her story and about the writing process.
Today we began our study of Mexico! Students labeled a map of Mexico and created their own Mexican flags.
